Come on in and cozy up in THE OVERLOOK NOOK of North GA! This cozy short term rental cabin is perched on the mountainside in beautiful Hiawassee GA. AMAZING location to explore all North GA has to offer! Lake Chatuge is just a 5 min walk down the street. Several hiking trails (Appalachian Trail), waterfalls, and mountain top lookouts (Brasstown Bald & Bell Mtn.) all within a few mile drives. Public beach and boat ramp 10 min drive.
If you prefer to relax, lots of local shopping, dining, and wineries ALL within a 10+ min drive from the cabin. Need a little excitement? Take the 25 min drive to Helen and go tubing down the river in the summer and explore ALL the Swiss town has to offer (great for kids!) Also easily explore the busy town of Blue Ridge (45 min drive) and take a scenic ride on the Blue Ridge Railroad. Young Harris College and Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds (10 min drives). Looking for snow in the winter? Check out Cataloochee Ski resort in NC (1.5 hr drive) or snow tubing at Scaly Mtn. (45 min drive). Harrahs Casino in Murphy, NC (35 min drive)

The Overlook Nook is a 1300 sq ft, dog friendly 2 bed/2 bath fully stocked cabin with detached game suite.
Both bedrooms offer NEW memory foam KING mattresses, perfect for 2 couples **bedrooms on different floors and both have outdoor access**. The Overlook Nook has wooded mountain views with seasonal long range views of the highest peak in GA- Brasstown Bald! Relax outside on over 1000 sq ft of outdoor decks. Top deck is completely screened in with dining table and sectional sofa. Bottom deck is gated on all ends and connects to the "Game Nook". Game Nook is detached suite complete with foosball table and extensive board/card game collection.

About the Owner
We currently live in the Atlanta area and love to escape our busy everyday lives for a little quiet and peace in the mountains. Our family has always loved the mtns. and after years of traveling up for quick weekend getaways we decided to purchase our own little piece of paradise. We love all that the Hiawassee area has to offer, hiking, wineries and of course Lake Chatuge in the summertime. We hope you enjoy our home away from home as much as we do!!!Amenities
